S355J2W+N are the weather-resistant structural steel. Unlike, unalloyed constructional steels this grade forms a barrier layer when it comes in contact with reducing environments. S355J2W+N PLATES are developed to provide improved corrosion resistance. It can be utilized in moderately corrosive environments. It is used in streamline environments that contain high levels of halides and chlorides.

In addition to alloying elements, it offers great resistance to pitting and crevice. These plates also have higher creep, tensile and stress to rupture strength. It also resists atmospheric corrosion as well in reducing environments. It has also resistance to polluted sea waters. This grade has excellent resistance to intergranular attacks. These plates have excellent strength and toughness at down temperatures.

In the annealing conditions, it becomes nonmagnetic in nature. However, it becomes slightly magnetic in nature when cold worked or welded. These are readily formable with all standard fabrication process. These are resistive to many organic and inorganic acids such as nitric acids, phosphoric acids, alkalis, sulfides, and other harsh chemicals. These perform well in chromium carbide precipitation environments and also resistive to sensitization.

Those tests are visual inspection, mechanical tests, hardness test, tensile test, PMI tests, micro and macro test, chemical composition analysis, and hydro testing. Other tests are a destructive/non-destructive test, IGC test, flaring test, flattening test, ultrasonic test, radiography, and pitting corrosion test.

At last, third parties inspect the quality of products for assured quality.

For ensure the quality of each item, we attach MTC report as per EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 along with supplied precuts. The reports are Commercial invoice, specification guide, attested certificate by suppliers, welding guide, fumigation certificates, packing list like net and gross weight, quantity and marks and number, stamping details NABL test report, hardness details after heat treatment.

Other reports are Certificate origin by legalized embassy, raw material test report, mill test report, quality assurance plan, heat treatment charts, incorporate chemical composition and guarantee letter.
